Evangelism On The Street

Out on the streets again today. One guy I met had a sad story. He had been in care since the age of 2, when he was taken from his mother. He had been in 32 different care homes over the years and was still only 24. He had fathered a child some time ago, but the baby died at 2 days old. He then went back on drugs, but a friend got hold of him and made him do “cold turkey” – shut away for 3 weeks – and he got off again.

He was currently banned from the centre of Manchester for causing trouble. I felt for him; he said he has so many issues to get resolved. He was currently attending a local support group which, by the sound of it, is a Christian one.

He had seen us around before and wondered why we gave out food and drinks to people.

I shared some things about God with him, and added part of my testimony. Hope to meet up with him again soon………a nice lad.
