Jewish Man Healed By Jesus Christ The Messiah

August 18, 2018

We were doing Healing On The Streets (HOTS) in the town centre and he saw our sign. A young guy in his twenties, he came up and chatted to us. He had a doctor’s appointment in an hour’s time for a severe pain in his side.

On a level from 0 to 10 it was an 8 in severity. We told him we were Christians and he mentioned he was Jewish. That caused my heart to jump, as I felt sure Jesus would heal him as a sign of His Messiah-ship. The pain in his side also took on a new meaning to me, as I reflected on the spear wound inflicted on Jesus.

As I prayed for him I acknowledged out loud mention of the wound in Jesus’s side. After commanding healing for about 10 seconds I asked him :’how’s the pain now?’

He replied:’it’s gone!’ Before we could respond he said: ‘I don’t need to see the Doctor!’

I suggested he go and tell the Doctor what had happened. I also said: ‘it would also be good if you could take time out, later on today, to thank Jesus your Messiah (Mashiach) for healing you’.

He Bought a Nylon Rope To Hang Himself

August 14, 2016

rope in a noose for hanging   He told me he is an ex-soldier and 3rd Dan martial arts practitioner. A very serious accident some years back had left him in constant pain, with little money and nothing to live for. I offered to pray “hands-on” for his healing from the pain but he wasn’t keen on this at all.

Life was so bad he decided one day to buy a length of nylon rope and set it up to hang himself, but his plan failed when the rope came loose.

He has an ability to see things that will happen to people and told me of many examples where prophecies he had given people had come true, exactly as he foretold. He didn’t like to use this gift unless he was pressurised to do so. I had no intention of asking him.

I told him I had something to tell to him about HIS future. The Bible says he will stand before God one day and be judged: “It is appointed for man once to die and after that the Judgment”. He wouldn’t accept this. He maintained he would be reincarnated and come back as a “helper” to assist others to find the way. He reckoned he seen seen a future for him surrounded by angels and meeting those he loved and having a happy time. One question I asked him he refused to answer, namely:”what is the pass mark for Heaven?”

He told me that he some debt counselling from a Christian man, who had then prayed for him.

Before he left he promised me that he would not try to end his life again. I told him God loved him, and that there is always hope in God. He needed to turn to God to mend his relationship with Him before it was too late. I gave him a card which quoted the words of Jesus:”wide is the road that leads to destruction and many travel on it. Narrow is the way that leads to life and there are few that find it”.

There Is Power In The Name Of Jesus

September 25, 2015

image of painful knee  I heard the woman mention that her left knee had been operated on, but still caused her problems; significant pain and limited mobility. Her pain level on a scale 0 to 10, 10 being worst, was currently 8. I offered healing prayer and she accepted. After laying hands on the knee and commanding prayer in Jesus name she reported the pain had gone, except for a small niggle. Jesus dealt with that and she then confirmed she was not only pain free, but that her previous limited knee mobility was now vastly improved. I got her to walk up and down to fully test out the knee. I told her that I wasn’t the healer, but that Jesus was – he had  done it.

Amazingly, she then went on to disclose that strange things were happening in the house she had recently moved into. Items were moving about of their own accord, and her doorbell rang persistently at 3 o’clock that morning, but no-one was there. Her dogs were getting spooked and unhappy about something. A shadowy figure had also been seen, who looked like the previous occupant.

Without wishing to scare her too much, I suggested that she should approach a local clergyman in her district with a view to getting this dealt with. As well as healing the sick I told her that Jesus has power over all spirits and they have to obey when told to go. As she left I gave her a Christian tract called “No Satisfaction”. She looked at the front cover and said: “yes, that’s me!”. I glanced through another copy of the tract after she left and saw the words: “Jesus can set you free” Having experienced his healing power I pray she experiences the further freedom from the spirit affecting her house.

He had done some things he regretted and wanted to get back into Church, but didn’t know where to go. I suggested a particular church, but he was hesitant. I gave him my contact card and invited him to get in touch if he wanted to meet up and help to take things further.

I Had Fallen 50 feet and Survived – So Had He

February 27, 2015

silhouette of a falling man   The man was suffering pain in his elbow from an operation that had put plates in his elbow, but had come adrift. He had fallen 50 feet in the course of an illegal activity and was suffering the consequences. I shared that I’d fallen 50 feet myself and lived, though I had suffered a fractured skull and broken leg. Mine was long ago; his was recent.

He shared how other aspects of his life had fallen apart, and he was missing his two children who had been adopted two years ago. He said he had 4 Bibles at home and wanted to go to a church. I hadn’t mentioned church or Bibles myself. I noticed several recent open wounds across his arm where he’d cut himself.

I told him Jesus was still healing today and shared some recent events I’d witnessed where Jesus had healed several people of various physical problems. I offered to pray for his elbow; he was agreeable, so I did. First time round he felt something change, but wasn’t sure what it was. I did hands on a second time and he said most of the pain was gone.

I shared the gospel with him. I also shared about the time when Jesus had appeared to me in my bedroom at home. He thought he was a Christian on the basis of having gone to church in the past. I told him a Christian is someone who surrenders control of their life to Jesus, and trusts Jesus for their future life – starting now. I explained the love of Jesus and how Jesus longs for us to get right with Him.

I recommended a local church for him to go to. I couldn’t meet him there as I had a family commitment this weekend. He thanked me for everything. I gave him my website card and suggested he contact me about a Bible passage he was interested in.  For more on the gospel see this website
