“Jesus Is Going To Heal You”

  I met in town with our Healing On The Streets team and at first we struggled to get anyone to show interest.

Latterly after we’d prayed for a friend of mine who received major healing in his legs, one of the team pointed out a middle-eastern looking guy who seemed to be loitering nearby, but then took off.

I went after him as had stopped not far away. It turned out he was an Iranian Christian who had been living in our town for 5 years.

We chatted and I asked if he had any pain in his body. He confirmed he had suffered from a painful foot for some time, and it was still causing him pain as we spoke.

I just knew Jesus was going to heal him so I assured him: “Jesus is going to heal you!”

  After laying hands on him a couple of times and commanding the problem to go, he confirmed the pain had gone. I have him my card and invited him to e-mail me anytime.

Tonight I received this e-mail from him:

“Hello dear xxx. You are very big human. You are kindest man I saw in the England. If I see you again I will kiss your foot in front every people in the city centre. And my foot not pain any more.

God bless you sir. I love Jesus”

Painful Foot Receives Healing Touch

She came in with a walker which she parked behind her chair. She explained she had multiple problems due to various pains and illnesses.

Her right foot was currently the most painful. I offered to pray in the name of Jesus. She wasn’t sure who that was, so I gave her a short explanation of who he was and what he did. She agreed to prayer and allowed me to place my hand on her foot.

After a minute or so I asked how it felt. She said the pain level had gone down by 50% and there was a noticeable tingling feeling in her foot. I prayed some more, at which point I became aware –  in my body – of the power of the Holy Spirit at work. (Normally when people experience healing I don’t feel anything happening, even if they do). I suggested she thank Jesus tonight before she goes to bed. She said she would.

I prayed for another lady with ongoing problems in her life. She had Muslim parents, but was happy to be prayed for in the name of Jesus. We talked about prayer and she noticed the “Footprints” poem on the wall opposite, saying “that’s Jesus isn’t it?” I lifted it off the wall and read it to her. As we came near the end I found myself getting emotional about the content, and I could see she was too.

Lastly, I was introduced to a guy from Eastern Europe who was in a bad way. As his life story unfolded, I learned that both his parents had been really cruel to himself and his twin brother growing up. He was now estranged from his twin, although he only lived 30 miles away. Worst of all, this man had lost his wife to cancer two years ago and he was still suffering badly the effects. He had also been sexually assaulted by a man whom the police couldn’t trace and this was eating him up inside too. He is an alcoholic and the doctors have told him he is likely to be dead within a year.

At intervals he kept crying his eyes out, saying he had nothing to live for. He had already tried to kill himself. I told him God was his only hope, as he would not abandon him. He told me he went into the local Catholic church to pray most days. I prayed for him and that his relationship with his brother might be restored.

Offer Of Hope To Desperate Man

He was an ex-Army man and looked very active and fit, but as I chatted to him I discovered that life was in fact terrible for him.

His wife was suffering from severe mental illness and within the last week had walked on to the local motorway to try and kill herself.  The husband admitted he was at the end of his tether. Because of her dangerous and unpredictable behaviour he was getting hardly any sleep and didn’t know where to turn. He had tried to get her into secure accommodation, but with no success.

He seemed in a hopeless predicament and He confirmed to me that this was indeed the case.  

I picked up a little booklet we have for clients, called “Finding Hope”. I said: “even although you may not be a religious person, this is an encouraging booklet because it offers hope. He flicked through it and said: “yes, that looks good – I’ll take it”. The first pages begin: “If life is hard, if your whole world is broken, if it is hard to keep going………………………where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth” Psalm 121:1-2. Let this God of the Bible bring you hope”.

I went on to tell him that a comprehensive study of the different religions in the world identified the Christian religion as the only one that offered hope to its followers. He told me his wife liked reading, so I also give him another booklet called: “Thought and Prayers For Troubled Times”. He looked through it and said: “yes, I think she’ll read that.”

Later, I chatted to a guy with a major, painful knee problem requiring surgery. I told him of several cases I personally knew of where guys had been healed of knee problems after a short prayer. Despite me encouraging him to try it for himself, he said quite firmly: “no thanks!”. I said: “what do you have to lose – it’s only 30 seconds of your time?” All to no avail, so off he went with his pain and damaged knee.

She Was Headed For The ‘Body, Mind and Spirit’ Event

When we arrived in town we noticed a sign advertising a ‘Body, Mind and Spirit’ event nearby. 

A woman saw our healing banner, so stopped and asked: ‘are you with the Body,Mind and Spirit event? I replied: ‘no,it’s better than that!’ That seemed to throw her off balance, so she asked me to explain.

I told her we were Christians from different churches and were offering healing in the name of Jesus. I advised her to reconsider going in to the other event, since there were different spirits at work there – that were NOT of God. Satan (The Devil) offered lots of appealing attractions, but ultimately they just appealed to mankind’s lusts and idolatry and so led people away from the true God and a loving eternity in Heaven.

We talked about how you get to Heaven. She maintained she was basically a good person and therefore God would accept her on that basis. She was rather taken aback when I told her that the Bible says that God regards our best deeds as equating to a woman’s filthy menstrual cloth. She explained she had been brought up a Roman Catholic and believed that gave her an assurance.

I told her from my own experience how we get ‘born again’ – by surrendering our lives to Jesus in repentance and faith. Sadly, she wasn’t interested to talk further and headed off to the ‘Body, Mind and Spirit’ event.

 

Jewish Man Healed By Jesus Christ The Messiah

We were doing Healing On The Streets (HOTS) in the town centre and he saw our sign. A young guy in his twenties, he came up and chatted to us. He had a doctor’s appointment in an hour’s time for a severe pain in his side.

On a level from 0 to 10 it was an 8 in severity. We told him we were Christians and he mentioned he was Jewish. That caused my heart to jump, as I felt sure Jesus would heal him as a sign of His Messiah-ship. The pain in his side also took on a new meaning to me, as I reflected on the spear wound inflicted on Jesus.

As I prayed for him I acknowledged out loud mention of the wound in Jesus’s side. After commanding healing for about 10 seconds I asked him :’how’s the pain now?’

He replied:’it’s gone!’ Before we could respond he said: ‘I don’t need to see the Doctor!’

I suggested he go and tell the Doctor what had happened. I also said: ‘it would also be good if you could take time out, later on today, to thank Jesus your Messiah (Mashiach) for healing you’.

Thoughts and Prayers For Lonely Times

  A woman with children came for help and while she was waiting to be dealt with she picked up a small book called: “Thoughts and Prayers For Lonely Times”. She seemed interested in it, so I said:”you can take it away with you if you like – it’s free. She replied :’yes please it looks interesting’.  Like all other clients who came today she also received a Christian newspaper with a gospel message inside it.

I also had a chat with one of our new volunteers today. In explaining the wider context of what we do, I told him it included praying for people for healing. He was bought up as a churchgoer, but no longer attends. I gave him a few testimonies of how some people had been healed while they waited to be seen. I hope my chat with him gave him a wider perspective on Christianity – namely the exciting life possible when compared to the passivity and inactivity of dull times in the pew listening to a dull sermon.

 

5 Years of Pain Gone in 7 Minutes Thanks to Dr Jesus

After a fight outside a nightclub he had ended up in a coma for three weeks. When he came round that’s when he first noticed the chest pain. Doctors weren’t able to tell him what the problem was, or resolve the pain.   

He told us he had spent thousands of pounds over the years to get rid of his chest pain, but nothing had worked. We challenged him to try Dr Jesus – what did he have to lose? We also pointed out it was FREE!

He sat down in the chair. At the outset, on a scale of 0 to 10 his pain level was a 7. After a couple of minutes with us (and Jesus) it had gone down to a 5. We persevered, commanding the pain to go in Jesus’ name and minutes later he reported it was now a 3.

Soon afterwards it was gone. He said he felt like there was a “pleasant buzzing feeling” going round his body. We told him that was God at work.

He was pretty dumbfounded at what had happened!

We shared about Jesus with him and gave him a pack to take away which included the “Why Jesus?” booklet which explains the need for repentance from sin and surrender of your life to Jesus.

 

 

The Need For Repentance Preaching Alongside Signs and Wonders

DISTURBING PROPHETIC DREAM posted by a young Aussie,  Jeremiah Johnson:

“Several months ago while I was extensively studying Matthew 7:22-24 and asking God for increased revelation, I had one of the most disturbing prophetic dreams of my life. The Scripture I was studying in Matthew says,

“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name did we not cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will say to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.”

In the prophetic dream at night, I was taken to hell where I saw all these leaders and individuals who had performed miracles, cast out demons, and prophesied. What I was shown next, I will never forget. The Holy Spirit showed me long lines of people behind all of these leaders. He immediately revealed to me that these were all the people that had received the miracles, prophecies, and had been at one time delivered. As I gazed at the people in these lines, He said to me, “Did they not RECEIVE miracles, prophecy, and deliverance, yet I never knew them?”

I woke up from the dream alarmed and startled. I said to the Holy Spirit, “So there are not only people that will perform signs, wonders, and miracles that will be sent to hell, but also people who receive all these things that will be in hell. Why?”

Immediately the Holy Spirit spoke again to me and said, “Because those that worked miracles, prophesied, and cast out demons never preached the full gospel of Jesus Christ which is the message of repentance. They were so in love with the gifts that I had given them that people became trophies and souvenirs to them.

When My power would manifest in their ministries, they would tell people that I loved them, but never that they needed to repent for their sins. I tell you that a great deception will sweep over the signs and wonders movement in the earth. Beware of the ministries where miracles and prophecies will flow, but the message of repentance is not preached. You have been warned.””

He Bought a Nylon Rope To Hang Himself

   He told me he is an ex-soldier and 3rd Dan martial arts practitioner. A very serious accident some years back had left him in constant pain, with little money and nothing to live for. I offered to pray “hands-on” for his healing from the pain but he wasn’t keen on this at all.

Life was so bad he decided one day to buy a length of nylon rope and set it up to hang himself, but his plan failed when the rope came loose.

He has an ability to see things that will happen to people and told me of many examples where prophecies he had given people had come true, exactly as he foretold. He didn’t like to use this gift unless he was pressurised to do so. I had no intention of asking him.

I told him I had something to tell to him about HIS future. The Bible says he will stand before God one day and be judged: “It is appointed for man once to die and after that the Judgment”. He wouldn’t accept this. He maintained he would be reincarnated and come back as a “helper” to assist others to find the way. He reckoned he seen seen a future for him surrounded by angels and meeting those he loved and having a happy time. One question I asked him he refused to answer, namely:”what is the pass mark for Heaven?”

He told me that he some debt counselling from a Christian man, who had then prayed for him.

Before he left he promised me that he would not try to end his life again. I told him God loved him, and that there is always hope in God. He needed to turn to God to mend his relationship with Him before it was too late. I gave him a card which quoted the words of Jesus:”wide is the road that leads to destruction and many travel on it. Narrow is the way that leads to life and there are few that find it”.

More Healing For My Communist Friend

He shared his mobile phone number with me afterwards, which is how I came to be meeting him in town this afternoon. We sat in a pavement cafe and he bought me a cup of tea. He confirmed that the pain had gone from the centre of his back after our ministry some 5 weeks ago. He comes from Transylvania (home of  Dracula) and speaks five languages. He grew up bi-lingual, speaking Romanian and Hungarian. Long story short, he told me he had done some really bad things in the past. He suffers from a number of several ailments, including stress and anxiety.

  He also suffers other pains just above the hip bone, both sides, so we both stood on the pavement at the cafe while I laid hands on both hip areas. First time I did it he got an improvement. Second time it got even better, third time (well, you get the idea!) and fourth time all pain left. He said he could feel heat, also a numbness that was going down his leg. I assured him that heat and a spreading numbness were good, and signs that God was at work. During all this the cafe proprietor was standing six feet away watching me with my hands on another man’s hips, praying out loud – both in English and tongues – clearly wondering what was going on! There were also security cameras on a tall post 20 feet away, so those manning the camera monitors would also have a good view.

He still maintained he didn’t believe in God and compared himself to Doubting Thomas. “If I see, then I believe”. I was praying to think of ways to help him find forgiveness and freedom in Christ. I finally suggested that he make a list in one of his native languages of all the bad things he’d done. He should then meet up with me and we would then set fire to the list. It would be a symbolic way of lightening his load and showing God that he was moving forward, albeit as a doubter. He seemed agreeable, so I suggested a place and time to meet and said I’d bring the matches. He double checked on my suggested meeting point, so I think he’ll turn up. He also has another medical problem and he suggested I might pray for that when we meet.
